Welcome to the HemaScope initiative! Our goal was to conduct a comprehensive literature search and collate all data published on wildlife leukocytes and parasite burdens into one freely-available database. We hope this database provides a jumping off point for more comparative studies and also as a reference tool to compare your data against other published values.

Currently this database is comprised of flying vertebrates, birds (Aves) and bats (Chiroptera), but we plan to expand in the future. Data will be updated quarterly.
